Optoelectronic analyzer:
The light reflected
by the particle's surface is sensed by eight discrete detection areas
located around the interior circumference of the analyzer; thus, total
measurement of its color is attained without the use of reference backgrounds.
This feature is exclusive of the patented Xeltron fiber optics analyzer.
Reliability
The advanced control architecture of its independent modules, allows the equipment to operate on either a full or partial basis. In addition, a self-diagnostic system is also incorporated to minimize supervision, and alert the operator about any possible malfunction.
Total independence and compatibility between modules enables the definition of each individual module as needed, either independently of the others, or in parallel with some, or all the others.
Control and operation
The sorting process is completely automatic, designed to be operated even by inexperienced personnel. All functions are performed by state-of-the-art microprocessors, and the process control is capable of maintaining optimum sorting efficiencies, even of highly heterogeneous products.
The sorting parameters are programmed from a user-friendly control panel, once determined for a given three channel module; they can be copied to the others. The control system includes a computerized memory to store sorting parameters.
Technology
Independent, computer controlled vibratory feeders, one for every 3 channel module, convey a constant product stream to the anodized aluminum chutes, where the particles descend, and are evenly spaced as they are accelerated by gravity. The system provides both high production volume, and high precision sorting.
This series employs a newly developed solid-state illumination system that features low power consumption and a 5 year guarantee.
Production capacity
Hourly production per channel is in the range of 180 to 220 Kg (400 to 484 lb)
Production is a function of product density, particle size and percentage of defective product to be rejected.
