Production:
The lowest cost to production ratio for precision sorters in the industry.

Reliability:
Runs with minimum supervision, under a self-diagnostic system.

Chutes:
Higher throughput per chute

Maintenance:
Automatic cleaning and easy access.

Precision:
The new Trikromatic LED analysis system, developed by Xeltron, provides the highest sorting precision; it operates in broad wavelength range, from the ultraviolet to the infrared.

Sorting:
Defective particles and foreign materials are rejected with high precision, and low quantities of acceptable product in the reject stream.

Operator Interface:
An easily readable LCD screen and four directional keys provides total sorter control.

Solid-State Illumination:
This new development, whose operating life is greater than 100,000 hours of continuous service, optimizes sorting precision. Additionally its power expenditure is less than 10% of the required by halogen bulbs or fluorescent tubes.

Technical Characteristics

Technology:
The Trikromatic ® colorimetric system is based on the exclusive Xeltron fiber optics analyzer, which gives a 360o vision and color measurement of the particle, without the use of a reference background.
The 1000 series features a recently redesigned and patented version of the Xeltron optical analyzer, which incorporates state-of-the-art optoelectronic circuits to attain infrared detection and thus improve sorting precision

Independent computer controlled vibratory feeders deliver a steady stream of particles to the chutes, where they are accelerated by the action of gravity and thus evenly spaced.

Operation and Control:

The sorting process employs complex algorithms and microprocessors to evaluate the signals generated by the particles as they cross the optical analyzers, to decide whether to accept or reject a particular particle. Even inexperienced operators will be able to attain high quality sorts by means of the user-friendly and intuitive operator’s interface.
An easily readable, illuminated LCD screen and four control keys are the means by which the operator interacts with the control system.

A pneumatic system that raises the chute assembly, allows easy access to the optics and product output chambers.

Operational Reliability:
The advanced design of its independent modules, allows the equipment to operate on either a full or partial basis. In addition, a self-diagnostic system is also incorporated to minimize supervision, and alert the operator about any possible malfunctions. The rejection system uses new rejections valves, which require less compressed air and power, and feature an extended operational life.

Production:

As a consequence of the small footprint of the sorter, a large sorting capacity can be installed in a small area.

Production capacity is a function of product density, particle size and percentage of defective product.
