Solid-State Illumination:
This new development, whose operating life is greater than 100,000 hours of continuous service, maximizes sorting precision since it can operate in wavelength ranges from the infrared to the ultraviolet. Additionally, its power expenditure is less than 10% of that required by halogen bulbs or incandescent tubes.
Technical Characteristics
Optoelectronic analyzer:
The recently developed infrared optoelectronic analyzer, views the particle from 34 points, thus guaranteeing total surface analysis.
Operational Reliability:
The advanced design of its independent modules, allow the equipment to operate either on a full or partial basis. In addition, a self-diagnostic system is also incorporated to minimize supervision, and alert the operator, by means of a beeper of any possible malfunctions. Interactive maintenance, repair and operational help are available through videos that can be displayed on the control touch screen; a copy of the operation manual may also be viewed on the screen. The rejection system uses new rejections valves, which require less compressed air and power, and feature an extended operational life.
Control and operation:
The operator interacts with the sorter through a color touch screen; the Windows based graphic interface is very easy to understand and operate.
Automated process control is performed by advanced microprocessors, which maintain optimal efficiency and an excellent sort quality.
Technology:
SMART SORT ® Xeltron's exclusive artificial intelligence system, automatically calibrates the sorter, using as criteria the previously established percentages of rejection for each sorting parameter.
Production capacity:
Up to 2,500 Kg/hr (5,500 lb/hr) for the 12 channel sorter
Production capacity is a function of product density, particle size and percentage of defective particles to be rejected.
